Lepton Software selected as the Telecom GIS solution provider for the prestigious BharatNet Phase-II project

 Mumbai, September 27, 2019: Lepton Software, India’s leading provider of telecom network planning and management products, today announced that it has been selected as the Telecom GIS solution provider for BharatNet Phase-II project by Gujarat Fibre Grid Network Limited (GFGNL), A Government of Gujarat company.

Lepton's NetworkAccess is the leading telecom network planning and network inventory management software product suite with over 65% market share in India. NetworkAccess helps plan, design, maintain and document the complete PNI Inventory of wireline and wireless networks. Lepton will supply and install GIS applications and mobile applications for project and O&M phase together with GIS application-based integration with NMS and Project Management tool.

Speaking at the FTTH summit in Mumbai, Shyam Devireddy, Director of Product Management at Lepton Software said “We are very eager to further the cause of providing broadband connectivity to every corner of India and bridge the digital divide. A total of 7692 GPs spread over 22 districts in Gujarat will be connected over the proposed fibre grid.”

Mr Dharmendra Sharma, Director (Technical & Infrastructure) at GFGNL added “GFGNL intends to create OFC infra highways by laying Optical Fibre Cables connecting all blocks with Gram Panchayat, including supply & installation of electronic equipment to enable the intended services. Lepton’s NetworkInventory was identified as one of the best tools to help us plan and implement this prestigious project.  Lepton is supporting our needs and helping us onboard the field crew with the tools necessary for efficient operations.
